Join us and celebrate all things mountain biking at Bear Brook State Park. Come do some epic mountain biking or bring your family on some gentle offroad trails.  Come demo mountain bikes and check out some great deals on gear from local bike shops.

Whether your a hardcore rider or someone new to the sport, NEMBAfest will have something for you!  There will be a 4-mile gentle kids/family ride, along with a 10 mile beginner/intermediate loop and a 20-mile intermediate/advanced loop.  Ride fast or just cruise, the trails are arrowed so everyone knows where to go and you don’t have to worry about getting lost!

  • New Bike Demos from many vendors, including Kona Bicycles East Coast Launch of their 2011 Bikes!
  • Marked Riding Loops for All Abilities

There will be arrowed courses for novice, intermediate and expert riders to explore that park at their own pace.  Just follow the arrows for a great ride! There will be a short loop (6 miles), an medium loop (14 miles) and a long loop (20 miles).  The long loop does have some significant climbs!  In addition, there will be a 3-mile bike demo loop.

  • Led Rides

-- Tons of rides led both days. All level group rides will be leaving at 10am and 2pm both days!

Exposure Lights company logo -- Saturday Night Ride, powered by Exposure Lights, leaving from campground.  Email Exposure Lights to reserve your demo set of the latest in high-test LED lighting systems. Exposure Lights will be raffling off two lighting systems to those who come to the Night Ride!  Don't forget to email them to reserve your lights!

  • Bike Swap

There will be all sorts of Group Rides for people of all abilities, including some family rides, and you'll be able to participate in the Mountain Bike Olympics --log pulls, wheelie contests, tire tosses, bunny hopping, limbo and more. The NEMBAfest is the largest of the Kona Bicycles-Fox Shox MTB Adventure Series.

Bear Brook State Park offers fantastic singletrack, as well as mellow trails for novice and family riding. We'll have many miles of marked trails for you to explore the forest and get your fill of great New England singletrack.

Cost: $20.00

Bear Brook State Park, located in Allenstown NH, offers over 30 miles of mountain biking trails from mellow woods roads to challenging single track.  In addition, the park offers camping (May – October) and a beach/swimming area.  Come explore the park while helping a good cause.  It’s a great way to spend the day and it’s a great place to ride!

Directions:

135 Deerfield Road, Allenstown, NH 03275 (Click for Google Map)

Route I-93 & I-95 are the gateway highways to New Hampshire.

From I-93

Exit 9N onto Route 3/28 North.  Follow about 12 miles into Allenstown, NH.  Veer right onto Route 28 when Route 3 splits off.  Follow Route 28 for about 2 miles before turning right onto Deerfield Road.  (There is a Bear Brook State Park sign on the corner).  Parking is at the Picnic Pavillion.

From I-95

Route 4 West to Route 28 South, about 25 miles (Epsom traffic circle).  Follow Route 28 South for about 6 miles before turning left onto Deerfield Road (There is a Bear Brook State Park sign on the corner). Parking is at the picnic pavilion past the toll booth.
