Wicked Ride of the East 2008
What a wicked great way to end a wicked great season of the Kona MTB Adventure Series! There was probably a record turn out of riders coming to check out the wonderful trails at Harold Parker State Forest cared for by North Shore NEMBA. Once again Seth and the crew at New England Bicycle brought out some Kona Bicycles, and it was great to have Sinister Bikes, Cycle Loft, the Luna Chix and Team Vitamin Water in the house. Anthony of Cycle Loft cooked up over 250 hotdogs, kilbasa and brats, and the now infamous Lee Hollenbeck scortched the crowd with his homemade chili. This was definitely one of those rides where you leave with more calories than you left on the trail! Our thanks to North Shore NEMBA, and especially Steve Charette, for hosting such a wonderful fixture of the mountain bike scene! We thank them all, as well as all the sponsors that make this series possible.
