The Pioneer Valley Chapter of NEMBA is pleased to kick off the Harpoon Adventure Series at the D.A.R. State Park in Goshen, MA. PV NEMBA invites cyclists to come enjoy the technical and hilly trails for a fun and fund-raising ride in this beautiful state park. The trails in the D.A.R. State Park are some of the best in the "Valley" and offer a perfect opportunity to experience some of PVNEMBA's trail work and design. The trails will be clearly marked, allowing riders to go at their own pace. For those who wish to make a weekend of it, D.A.R State Park offers camping. To make a reservation, go to http://www.state.ma.us/dem/recreate/camping.htm. Besides mountain biking, D.A.R has beautiful lake suitable for swimming, fishing, or canoeing. Date: Sunday, May 25, 2003 Time: Registration begins at 9:00 A.M., and ends at 12:00 P.M. Ride all day at your own pace, then party afterward. Cost: The cost of the ride will be $10 for NEMBA members, $15 for non-members, and FREE to anyone who joins NEMBA at the D.A.R. on the morning of the ride.
