D.A.R. State Forest

Goshen, MA

Registration: 9-11am

The Pioneer Valley Chapter of NEMBA is pleased to hostf the Harpoon Adventure Series at the D.A.R. State Park in Goshen, MA. PV NEMBA invites cyclists to come enjoy the technical and hilly trails for a fun and fund-raising ride in this beautiful state park. The trails in the D.A.R. State Park are some of the best in the "Valley" and offer a perfect opportunity to experience some of PVNEMBA's trail work and design. The trails will be clearly marked, allowing riders to go at their own pace.

For those who wish to make a weekend of it, D.A.R State Park offers camping. To make a reservation, go to http://www.state.ma.us/dem/recreate/camping.htm .

Besides mountain biking, D.A.R has beautiful lake suitable for swimming, fishing, or canoeing.

Cost: The cost of the ride will be $10 for NEMBA members, $15 for non-members, and FREE to anyone who joins NEMBA at the D.A.R. on the morning of the ride.

Kids 15 and under are free with a parent or guardian

From North: Rte I-91 south to Rte. 2 west, Greenfield exits. Follow Rte. 2 west to Rte. 112 south. Follow Rte. 112 south 10 miles to Park Entrance on left

From South: Rte. I-91 north to exit 19 in Northampton. Rte. 9 west to Goshen. Turn right onto Rte. 112 north. Park Entrance is 1 mile on the right

From East/West: Massachusetts Turnpike (Rte. I-90) to exit 4 and Rte. I-91 north. Rte. I-91 north to exit 19 in Northampton. Follow Rte. 9 west to Goshen. Turn right onto Rte. 112 north. The Park entrance is 1 mile on right
